Biden steps down....

Biden steps down....

Yes. I wonder if the election can be salvaged?
Good that he's done this. Should have done it earlier. All is not lost!

With Biden as the candidate I would have said the Democrats had a small chance to win

Without him, imo they now have a decent chance

At least he has done the right thing for his country and his party - something that the orange baboon would never, ever do if the boot was on the other foot

Unfortunately I think Trump is still favourite

But with this decision there is at least hope...

I think Biden had no chance sadly on recent form. He's been a good president but is just too old.
Dems have a fighting chance now. Trump has never been popular.

Aw, poor old Biden. Kamala and Pete next, please!

Trump has never been popular.

That must be why he won one election and is overwhelming favourite for another.

I changed my mind, Kamala and Michelle Obama would be AMAZING.

Gavin Newsome for VP!

To be precise...
Trump won one election with two million votes less than his opponent.
Lost another election.
Only had a small poll lead over a candidate who could barely walk.

Trump won one election with two million votes less than his opponent.

And yet Keir Starmer won a "popular" victory with only 33% of the vote.

Yes he did!!!!!

Thanks for reminding me ✌️

P.s To say making comparisons between the U.K. and the US election system is pointless, is an enormous understatement

Just trying to get my head around why winning 46% of the popular vote equates to never having been popular while winning 33% equates to the exact opposite.

1. We don't have a presidential system.
2. Trump has never won the popular vote.
3. Labour beat the Tories by a 10% margin
4. More parties in the UK election.
5. Starmer approval ratings pretty good.

There really are some clueless people in this country

Starmer was asked about Biden recently and said he was on good form

He is now being called a liar

What the hell was Starmer supposed to have said??

"The President? Oh wow , the man is a gibbering imbecile, I'm surprised if he can even tie his shoe laces! What a clapped out , demented ole bastard "

"I prosecuted sex predators. Trump is one. I shut down for-profit scam colleges. He ran one. I held big banks accountable. He's owned by them. I'm not just prepared to take on Trump, I'm prepared to beat him." - Kamala Harris
