Wanna write a sitcom with Leevil? Page 5

Again though - surely rules are there to be broken.

It does sound a little lazy, leevil!
Just knuckle down and write a complete episode on your own. It's a great learning exercise.

I agree. Any writer worth his/her salt must at least be able to finish a script. I certainly wouldn't want to hook up with somebody who can't even be arsed finishing something. Even if the ending is incredibly lame, at least you've finished it. You can then forget about it for a month, and go back to it with fresh eyes.

Finishing isn't Leevil's problem!

Who are you? Have you written a book, or a play, a film?

What is the deal with everyone on here finding it so hard to write. It should take no longer than 2 weeks to write one solid episode. If not it probably doesn't work too easily/well or you are just not cut out for it.

I mean, a whole fictional book can be written in first draft within 4-6 months

At least I am honest, if you are not interested then fair enough.

Good for you, I'm pleased you find it so easy and I wish you the best of luck.

Yes, if you have the luxury of being a full time writer.

Not so if you have a full time job to contend with.

Whistling nnocently

4-6 months? What kept you? I wrote one in November.

The point is missed. It's not the time you have, it's the fluidity the script develops at.

Should come straight to mind if all the dot connects.

The reason I asked if this Lee guy has done anything is because he's kinda saying, "I'm lazy, inconsistent, difficult, childish and old fashioned and set in my ways and I offer you no hope or enthusiasm or anything! ...But please do some work for me"

Why?

Surely there is some fundemental reason, that even in this virtual non-entity place, that you could warrant a reason?

Also....Airplane, police squad??? Do you fancy Leslie Nielson or sum-ting?
Next you'll be saying we should watch more of the two ronnies_

I understand what you are saying Oliver. My original post was an exaggeration. What I was really looking for and have found is some help from some people to bounce ideas off and have an idea that could easily fall together and "the dots connect".

It's going very well thank you, much better then I would've managed by myself.

Laughing out loud

Leevil: Awkward, bad tempered, temperamental and a bitch in bed.
