I did mention this to Mark sometime ago, and it is difficult to monitor, and good on yer Niki for checking where you can.

On Only Connect they have (of course!) a huge database, and woe betide you if you don't check it before submitting pitches!

I check when I write the questions for my question bank (where I keep all my questions before they're assembled into quiz submissions), then again a few times when I put a set of questions together. Sometimes if there's a long gap between writing the question and putting it in a quiz I find that someone else has beaten me to it, but that's the nature of the art.

๐Ÿ˜ What I forgot to mention, was my last quiz I had to change one of my questions as Mark said it was too similar to one in your last quiz before this one, and then, blow me down your No 7. "The full names of the characters Richie and Eddie in Bottom were Richard Richard and..." in this one, was one I had in the pot for a future quiz!

Cest la vie................

If something set for a future quiz comes up when I search it's usually one of your questions ๐Ÿ˜„

8/10. Knew date in Q1 but somehiw got Hancock confused with Elvis, don t ask.

On similar or repeated Qs I think after 4,500 plus Qs asked it's going to be unavoidable so I shouldn't worry too much abart it.

Quiz 307 from Hercules!

I got 6/10. Good questions (I liked the different shop names in question 7) and some of them require very precise specialist knowledge, i.e. one could be a fan of Red Dwarf but not remember the exact type of spacecraft, or fan of Back without knowing the precise relationship of the main two characters! Which makes it more satisfying when getting that sort of thing correct.

I knew 5 of them for definite, and got one guess (question 10, the 1960s comedy song which was an educated guess).

Correct answers: 1, 3, 4, 6, 9, 10.

Agreed. Enjoyable.
7 out of 10.
Got 7, 8 and 10 wrong. Fluked the Rock and Chips one. Got the Back one wrong even though I watched the show.

Recently I think I might actually know a few but I keep getting my shitty score of three and one. 2 was the only one I was sure of.
On the multiple choice monkey principle (an ape can get 20 per cent), this means I know as much about comedy as about one and a third monkeys.

The number of times I've done that. Must be the frilly white jacket.

Thank you a plate - when Mark emailed this to me for approval (order changed) I was very pleased with the mix - you have to remember I wrote these quizzes over a year ago so were reasonably fresh to me. ๐Ÿ˜Š

7/10

Didn't know numbers1 or 8. Didn't recall number 7 although I suppose I must have heard it at the time.

Oh, just goes to show (no, I don't know what I mean by that either), but I thought No. 1 on Red Dwarf was an easy one.

Nevertheless, 7 out of 10 ain't bad, Billy! ๐Ÿ˜

That was fun Herc, I managed 7/10 and 5/5 (2, 8, 9 incorrect). Some great alternative answers in there, especially Q6 ๐Ÿ˜†

Excellent!! Especially the extra 5, but am amazed you didn't know No. 9 - clearly you don't watch it, as I thought that was one of the easier questions.

No, I saw it a few times when it was first onscreen but since then I've only seen bits here and there.
