Dixon of Dock Green is coming to TPTV from Saturday 13 January.

And on Monday evenings starting tonight @ 8pm a re-run from the beginning of 1970s serial The Brothers starring Jean Anderson., Kate O'Mara, Gabrielle Drake and a pre-Doctor Who Colin Baker.

Just read that Noel Cronin was awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) in the New Year's Honours. Congratulations.

Interesting five minute item on American TV's CBS News' Saturday Morning programme on the success of the UK's Talking Pictures TV channel.

So will they be launching a "Talking Pictures - Late Night XXX" channel next?

Out of Town begins on TPTV tomorrow (Monday 5 February) at 6.30pm, unseen on British TV screens since the original transmissions. With Jack Hargreaves' extensive experience, knowledge and love of the countryside, this is now a nostalgic historical record of life in Britain from a bygone age.

I remember that show. Thanks, I'll set the Humax box.

Do you think my use of the word Humax box attracted the posting bots?

The 'Shedflix' TV channel run from film buff's back garden that has SIX MILLION viewers every week: Inside the father-daughter run station Talking Pictures which only airs golden oldies from Way Out West to Sydney Poitier's Cry

Damn

I just noticed they started showing Budgie with Adam Faith

But I missed it

TPTV re-showing it from Saturday 13 April.

The proper Batman - starring Adam West & Burt Ward - is being reshown from Saturday 1 June (Derby Day).

"Holy Talking Pictures!"

"To the Batmobile..."

I always chuckle at the line in "Batman: The Movie", when Batman is climbing up the rope-ladder to the Batcopter being flown by Robin, and the (rubber) shark jumps up to grab Batman, and Robin shouts "Holy Sardine!" 😆

I mean, who the hell would think of writing a line like that

That fellow in the Caribbean could have done with Batman's can of shark repellent.

I just saw an advert for Ladies Who Do coming up. What a cast!

An extremely fun film, with a very good Blu-ray release a couple of years ago. I really recommend investing.
