The Kemps: All Gold

Anyone else watch this mockumentary? Charlie Hinson tweeted that this was the funniest thing on tv over Xmas describing it as 'laugh out loud'. This prompted me to watch it and it was exactly as described. I haven't laughed out loud throughout a comedy for a long time. It's on BBC iPlayer along with The Kemps: True - the same format from a few years ago which I also watched tonight and laughed through that as well. It's well worth a watch.

Yes it's hilarious
especially the league of extraordinary men parody

I would definitely watch that film if they made it😁. The supporting cast were excellent but I thought Shirley Kemp was an absolute natural. I have moaned on here about current comedy just not being funny enough to make you laugh. This is the antidote to all those so called 'gentle comedies'. The gag rate was up there with Airplane.

Yes that Rhys whatever his name is
Is very underrated

He did a good end of the year review a few years back
Whatever happened to those, what is Charlie Brooker doing?

Yeah one of the best shows on telly during Xmas and New Year. Very funny.
