I don't think - I know.
I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,720

"If they would rather die," said Scrooge, "they had better do it, and decrease the surplus population."
Deep and meaningful
Maybe he finally realised he'd been scammed by a trafficker and his invisible friend in the sky wasn't going to be any help.
Then our politicians could spend their time and our money on our own problems.
Who knows as he died alone begging a security guard for help and was told to 'Shut up' that's no way to end your life. At the end of the day this is a human being I just feel sorry for him.
Very sad when anyone gets to that stage. I hope the police investigate thoroughly for foul play. I know very little about the circumstances and am not suggesting in any way there is foul play involved. What's worse is the media vultures who will invade every aspect of the victims' life to find stories about him to fabricate in to world exclusives written by AI and with those new '3 minute read' or '2 minute read' banners I've seen next to headlines on some news websites. Not very respectful having '2 minute read' next to a story about a murdered baby or terrorist atrocity and it's a 2 minute read because there's no journalism to it. When I think of people like Terry Lloyd it really pisses me off at what British journalism has become and the kind of tripe that passes for news articles these days. Zero research, zero investigations or fact finding and worst of all zero proof readimg.
And as if to compound things the amount of people from 'Think Tanks' that are brought in to review these stories is getting worse and worse.
You get the sense that Tufton Street is nothing more than a shady 80's 'Business Centre' that takes the mail in for every scam artist that can stump up for an accommodation address.

Do tell.

Seems he was a doctor from the Cameroons.
Another nail in the coffin of the NHS recruitment campaign. He was a "renowned Dr" so bad for NHS moral too.
How the f**k does a Dr die on a barge like a criminal when the NHS is screaming out for their services. Boat people my arse this is more than a dead cat the country is on its f**king knees and all they are pointing at is wretches.
It is getting beyond criminal whats going on and the people who are sucked up into blaming anyone but the Tories are worse than Trumpanzees and as for Starmer he needs to f**king stand up and address it as he Reeves Streeting and Kendal are coming across as just as bad if not worse.
Starmer has to tread carefully, given where we are currently. He's doing what Biden did (successfully) and trying to steady the boat and unify. He met with Greece, but this campaign is his to lose, so he obviously needs to avoid the ghosts of the past that clearly spooked people. Given he was head of Crown Prosecution, honesty is his trump card. We're fed up with lies from the Cons. It's just a shame honesty is boring, but he's clearly being trained to be more animated, bless him. The best way to change things is to win the election first.
I'm sorry but no, that time has passed we are pandering to off shore billionaires not the people of this country
I did at one point see the sense in courting them for a while but not now we are past that ,well past.
The Daily Mail is owned by a Frenchman and the paper is based in Bermuda they pay no taxes yet dictate the narrative showing us Royal families from all over the gaff and ignoring any stories that would highlight the desperate state of our country.
They supressed the Covid inquiry and instead offer up garbage and hate and basically their stance on immigration is now almost parallel to the output of Der Sturmer.
There is no growth , no plan no future and hardship is reaching almost the middle classes meanwhile total f**king nutters are still all over the internet saying 'Anything But Labour'
Those are all details, they need to keep their eye on winning, most political parties introduce change, not highlighted in their manifestos. Reeves is to Starmer, what Prescot was to Blair. It worked for Blair. Closer to the election, I expect Reeves will be going for the jugular and our Unifying PM in waiting can remain the voice of reason. This country is crying out for a unifying PM. We're fed up of performative cruelty and extremism, of any kind. Labour are more business friendly, so will work with them - not against as Boris & Brexit were. That's good for the economy, which gives them options to address your points.
RWANDA RWANDA RWANDA
That's all you ever see and hear and read about
It's almost certainly by design
Keep the cost of living, economy, schools crumbling, crime and the NHS out of the headlines because the Tories know they can't win those arguments anymore
I do like their national anthem though...

Huh? I'm not sure that Biden has done anything successfully during his presidency. He doesn't seem capable of climbing a flight of stairs or stringing a coherent sentence together during his increasingly rare public appearances.
Now that I think of it, he's successfully covered up his son's (and his own?) crimes, but that seems to be falling apart as the Democrats realize that Biden has no chance of winning the 2024 election, and they begin to turn away from him.
