I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here Page 26

How's Frankie getting on? Is he looking like a likely winner?

Yeah, and at least Nella caused some drama, which is surely part of the point of these programmes. The series would've been rather uneventful so far if she hadn't been there stirring things up. Even Nigel Farage has been rather quiet, the only tension in there is Fred and Josie disagreeing about who gets to do the cooking or whatever, which isn't particularly riveting. Although this is the first series of it I've watched for several years, so maybe the format is just tired now.

Gareth Roberts article on this programme in the Spectator today is stirring it up though. He likened a group with learning difficulties to be of one type, a dog, based on one contestant. But given he was axed from the Dr Who writing team in 2019 for numerous transphobic comments and tweets, hardly surprising. Ironically he's a member of the LGBT community and displays behaviour akin to a specific learning disability. He's denial personified.

I know what you mean although to be pedantic I don't think ADHD is technically a learning disability?

Anyway, moments after I said Farage had been quiet, there he was last night when they were doing jungle karaoke, Farage singing "I'm Too Sexy for my Shirt" and taking his shirt off!! (The tease!) Wonder if it'll get a mention on HIGNFY this week!
You see, Hercules, this is the kind of TV gold you're missing out on..! ;)

I read a lot of people will not watch it because Farage is on it.
That's just 'head in the sand' reactions.
Or maybe even they might find out he is a nice decent bloke and that would never do.
He admitted that was one of the reasons he entered - but £1.5M was a good persuader too.
And it turns out, he is a decent man.

Anybody?

He's gone. First campmate voted out.

Turns out he's massively dull.

He was jocked off

I don't even know what that means!

Billy does.

Really? Thanks. I wondered why I'd not heard much about him. I'm surprised - I thought he'd be quite charismatic and therefore popular. Good job I didn't take the 7/1.

In fairness the bookies got it wrong too, he should have had odds in excess of 1/10 being first off.

Well spotted, but apparently it's a disability and I'm fairly certain disable people aren't all like dogs or his boyfriend. Good to see Nella Rose was voted off second, following "Dadgate".

I actually watched this to better understand Farage and respect your view point SG. He's polite, but vacuous, no wonder he thought Brexit was "simple". Well intended ignorance ? Clearly the wider public aren't interested in him any more, given ITV gave him a record payment.

Nigel Farage loses another election.
Even a concerted campaign by GB News couldn't get him to the top (although explains how he got into the top three).

Or maybe he is liked by a lot of people. Couldn't be that though could it?

Thank goodness two nice people came out on top. Very reassuring.

Who was going to vote him off, given those that hate him were ignoring the show ...
