I watched his Alimony Tour DVD last night and didn't get to the end. It starts off badly with his seething hatred towards his ex-wife and then becomes a lecture with the same anecdotes I've heard before and clips of popular scenes I've seen before. I wasn't expecting a stand-up routine in the traditional sense but the whole thing felt a bit pointless with very few laugh out load moments and padded out with long clips most viewers will already have in their DVD collection or could just view on youtube. It all felt a bit lazy. It would have been much more entertaining if he did Q&A with the audience or some other kind of interaction.

Never heard of him. Any good?

Has anybody watched The Dinosaur Hour? I watched the Stephen Fry interview and didn't hate it, but mainly because Fry was quite engaging. And I liked the kittens running around the set. I'm not sure I'll seek it out again, though.

Yeah, I saw a clip from Fry's interview on Youtube. A bit surprising that Fry appeared on GB News, although it seems that The Dinosaur Hour is a rather different setup and atmosphere to the other stuff on the channel.

I've heard bad reviews about The Dinosaur Hour so I won't bother, partly because I don't wanna spoil the magic, partly because life's too short. And Stephen Fry gets smugger and more obnoxious by the second.

Of course he's smug and obnoxious, he went to Cambridge.
