I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,688

We already know that Jeremy Corbyn flouted the rules at a dinner party so to bet that he wouldn't have done so is, as I say, ludicrous.

And to suggest that the appointment of Diane Abbott as shadow Home Secretary was not because of her friendship with Corbyn but because she was undoubtedly the best person for the job is similarly preposterous.

Corbyn attended a party of six people when the limit was five. He admitted his error and apologised.
Johnson oversaw numerous large scale parties breaking rules which his own government had devised themselves and then lied repeatedly in Parliament about his involvement.
Not really the same thing.

"Boris Johnson said Covid was "nature's way of dealing with old people" and became "obsessed" with the elderly 'accepting their fate', the Covid inquiry has heard."

Tell you what - if Boris had has his way, this forum would be a lot quieter,

Straight from the Diane Abbott school of calculating:

Dominic Cummings-

"There is no plan. I think we are absolutely f**ked. I think this country is heading for a disaster. I think we are going to kill thousands of people."

Yeah yeah.... er... but Corbyn though??

That's the Dominic Cummings of whom somebody once said:

Quote: lofthouse @ 22nd May 2020, 9:46 PM

the total CUNT , that is Dominic Cummings

Wanker

is it?

And the reason the question of Corbyn has reared its ugly head again is that Lazzard raised the subject of:

Quote: Lazzard @ 31st October 2023, 11:10 AM

Just when we needed leaders we had a clown-car full of idiots.
And when you think of the sheer weight of seriousness & intellect that was petulantly ejected from the party for daring to disagree (and the dross that replaced them), just a few short weeks before the news from China turned grim...
Talk about bad timing.

Quote: Lazzard @ 31st October 2023, 10:22 PM

The country deserved better than that charlatan and his toadies.

and unfortunately the only alternative we were offered, when electing those leaders, was a government led by Corbyn and his own toadies, an offer that the country politely declined. If Labour had presented the electorate with a viable alternative...

Yeah that's him!

Total arsehole

What's your point ?

Even he admits he was massively unsuitable for his job

Guess who appointed him?

At least the guy can hold his hands up and admit his failings

Something Boris would never ever do even if his life depended on it

In fact he would tell bare faced lies to an enquiry if this was put to him

P.s. i don't like Corbyn - but he has more integrity in his little finger than bojo the f**king clown will ever have!

And the reason the question of Corbyn has reared its ugly head again is that Lazzard raised the subject.

Incorrect.
I raised the subject of the paucity of quality amongst the Tories - just when we desperately need that quality - after Boris sacked a load of their Big Beasts .
Low-grade ministers floated to the surface to fill the vacuum - BJ sycophants in the main.
We're still suffering now with really poor quality people.
Just look at the turnover in all the big jobs.
That's what I meant by "deserved better".

Anyone who would even consider the remote possibility of making someone like NADINE DORRIES a CABINET MINISTER, is clearly in the wrong job

Ang as deputy PM - or in charge in the PM's absence.
Quality.

See, you never defend the people actually in government positions , those actually running the country

It's always yeah but what about Labour, what about Rayner, what about Corbyn etc etc etc

I guess even you can't defend the clearly undefendable

Deflect deflect deflect

If that's you in your avatar (wassa matter with you man, that you can't seem to settle on one - or are the police after you?), then I will have a good laugh and eat my hat, which I don't wear.
