Just saw that Steve Coogan is 58 today. And he's been doing Alan Partridge since he was about 26!! (Apparently the character began in the spoof radio show 'On The Hour' in 1991).
Just seen a couple of short clips of Coogan and Saville together on the James Whale show, when Coogan was just starting out and was about 18 or 19 years old, which is an amazing coincidence, especially when Coogan did an impression of Saville in front of him.
