Depends on where you are looking from.
I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,671
Well they won't be looking from from the platform of the Manchester HS2 will they. The north has yet again been sold out as one promise will be replaced by another promise from London Tories,
No matter what side of the fence you're on or even if you're sat on the fence this is yet another U turn on major long term policies along with Net Zero etc that will not sit well with anyone considering long term investment.
I know a lot of readers wanted Brexit but so far no one has mentioned a taste to for Northixt , yet here we are abandoned and misled.
A sad day for those of us who live the wrong side of Birmingham,
I feel sorry for all the people who had their houses compulsory purchased to make way for the line and now it's not coming through.
They are basically abandoned because they might continue with it one day.
I agree Ste families forced out of generational homes for what transpire to now be for no reason. The sad thing is that today Sunak will replace one promise with another and his credibility is zilch .
Logistically his expected proposal to divert the money to better the bus rail and road networks in the so called 'Northern Powerhouse' will take years of planning and all the other guff. But Sunak hasn't got years, he'll be lucky to make it to Bonfire Night let lone Christmas. No this is no more than an attempt to pretend that he is finally going to do what they said they've been doing for the last 13 years.
Some prat at conference also said that if some dickhead runs out of Tesco brandishing a machete and a bag full of shopping- WE need to start tackling them
Here's an idea - f**k off
I hate to sound pedantic Lofty but is the machete also stolen from Tesco or did they bring it with them? It's a small point but could be vital in my decision making , as I would much rather tackle a person who decided to steal a Machete to buy drugs than a regular machete user/ robber.
I don't think they sell machetes in my local branch to be honest...
👀
Probably just a plastic Halloween one. Nothing to worry about.
Perhaps it was a pair of hedge clippers with a butterfly screw enabling him to separate the blades to give him that 'Faux Machete ' look that is popular with the press. A few weeks back I saw a slate knife being described as a machete and I was incensed .
Look we're getting off the point here
The point is, the thug could be armed with only a punnet of strawberries - I STILL AINT TACKLING HIM
🍓🍓🍓
I'm sorry about that its just that I'm a bit of a tool freak I've got a belt and everything.
At this very moment Laurence Fox is live-streaming 6 police officers searching and ransacking his house.
They came with a warrant and are turning his house over while he is sat on his couch filming them.
They won't say why they are there.
Note to self: Don't say out loud 'you wouldn't get in bed with someone.
Quote: Chappers @ 3rd October 2023, 1:56 PMThey're politicians. What do you expect? Honesty? They're all the bloody same. Promise all sorts when they're in opposition and then back down when they're in power.
I've been saying this for decades, and that is why I absolutely detest politicians, for the money grabbing arseholes they are, "working" in that monstrosity of a building** with its subsidised restaurants and bars, and I seem to remember there is even a bar for smokers.
**You stop for a mo', and look how big that 4 STOREY DOUBLE SIDED building is and imagine how much that costs to run in heating, lighting etc. (bet they don't pay f**king council tax) and then add on their wages AND expense accounts, for example £300 A DAY (ten years ago) just for turning up in the House of Lords, which all came to light when "Lord" (what the f**k did he do to deserve that title) Hanningfield was caught red-handed signing in for 20 minutes to claim his £300 "bonus", which he managed to do for 11 f**king days, and this is AFTER he'd served a jail sentence for expenses fraud in 2011, by claiming around £3,300 in House of Lords allowances in July 2013 to which he was not entitled.
And what happened the second time? His mates closed ranks and it was forgotten about, and that is the sort of shit that goes on in that building.
A load of f**king lying cheating wasters - we need a modern-day Guido Fawkes, with up-to-date ordnance/explosives.

I think it's to do with this.
The thing you're referring was just the standard misogyny you'd expect from Loozer.
This might be criminal.
It was - now arrested for conspiring to commit criminal damage to ULEZ cameras.
