I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,638

Decades ago the Russians said it wasn't possible to land a man on the moon - and over half a century later they can't even land an unmanned craft on the moon without it kersplatting into the surface in a million tiny pieces

Hmm...

So, man has never landed on the moon you say. Well, I'll go to the end of the flat world.

It's nice to see him thinking for himself though instead of just cutting & pasting from some rag or other. 😀

I worked in the space business for almost two decades, and I eagerly look forward to every new exploration, but I smiled when I heard that the Russian lander had smashed into the lunar surface. I feel bad for any anti-war scientists who lost years of work and research, but Russians who support the war and still believe in "Russian greatness" can enjoy their failure on the world stage yet again.

Hopefully the debris on the surface will be allowed to rest in peace but I doubt it if Russia thinks it might trigger a race by other countries to collect the debris for military purposes. Now it's resting on the moon does that make the debris finders keepers or still strictly the property of Russia?

I can't see there being any military intelligence value for a lunar lander. It's probably in pieces that would be measured in millimeters, anyway.

I see Genghis Khan's adviser tried to silence scientists who doubted ULEZ.

They must have run out of German scientists.(Bob Hope joke)

Well of course they always do if it doesn't fit with the perceived wisdom. ULEZ, lockdown, "climate change", ... ...

Hmm...

I don't think the fact that we have actually landed on the Moon is really under serious dispute at this point.

Another reason for gun control in the United States of Bloody Stupid America.

"A joke about an unfaithful zookeeper has been named the funniest gag at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

Comedian Lorna Rose Treen was voted the winner with her pun: "I started dating a zookeeper, but it turned out he was a cheetah."

Seriously?

WOW

Just.?...

Wow 😐

Wow 😐

A childish pun, and I don't get it either (not the "joke"!) - standards slipping at the Fringe

It's the sort of joke me and my mates would have made up in the playground when we were about 7 years old

I'd hate to hear the ones that didn't win

Ffs! 🤦‍♂️

I nearly won
I went out with a zoo keeper and it turns out he was a lion bastard.
