Apart from the lyric 'woodchip on the wall' I've never liked Pulp or Jarvis Cocker and he was just chasing publicity with his Michael Jackson antics. Chris Martin seems to have a good sense of humour and is down to earth. From what I've read about him on Extras and Life On The Road he's a prankster and has that look on his face like he's always up to something. Ricky Gervais said of all the stars to appear on Extras he was most nervous meeting Chris Martin.
