I wasn't listening right at the start but used to listen to Radio Caroline and Radio London. I'm still listening to Tony nowadays as he's a likeable idiot.

Pulp are shit.
Not a joke. I just need to say it. Pulp are total and utter f**king shit.
If you think Common People is profound, you are shit and a c**t and shit, because Pulp are shit Common People is shit. If you think it's cool to argue that common people live like common people because they are common people whilst people who are not common people don't live like common people because they are not common people, you are shit and a c**t and shit.
Pulp are shit. Really. No joke coming. Pulp are total and utter f**king shit.

I remember when Jarvis Cocker stuck his bum out at Michael Jackson and made a 'wafting' gesture! That was a strange song.

Wrong.

Now blur - they were f**king shit

Ew, are you one of those Oasis people?

Elastica FTW!

Hah, I'll let you off then.

I quite liked Ecbobelly.

Dubstar and Republica. Saffron replied to a comment I made on the Republica Facebook page a few years ago and I was starstruck.

Sleeper were better

The Cardigans are always a welcome sound on the radio.

In the interest of mentioning a great britpop band fronted by a man I'd add Mansun with their Stripper Vicars and Wide Open Spaces.

Can't be arsed to read the posts, but it looks like I've annoyed Pulp fans, which can only be a good thing. Pulp are shit. Common People is shit. And I hope I have made that clear. Pulp are total and utter f**king shit. And if I have managed to annoy Pulp fans to the point where they are responding here instead of jerking off to the Net, then I am happy to know that my time on this planet has not been totally wasted. Pulp are sooooooooo shit. And no, I ain't reading your posts cos I can't be arsed. But please know that Pulp are shit and if you think it's intelligent to say that common people live like common people because they are common people, then you are shit and a c**t and shit. Nuff said.

People seem to be mentioning random pop groups, most of which I've never heard of, so I thought I'd join in:

The Beatles, Abba & The Carpenters
