Fin.

Surely that should be on the Pretentious Foreign Film thread.

Non comedy film? Are You Being Served. When its on, I give it a whirl just to remind myself how unjust and cruel life is. Dreadful.

Everything, Everywhere, all at once
I'd highly recommend it
great fun.

It is great. It's also worth checking out Swiss Army Man from the same directors. That's weird and very good too.

You're the second person to recommend that in as many days.
I shall take that as a sign and check it out.

Went to see the film Elvis tonight.

Disappointing. He didn't sing Good Year for the Roses once.

And no rendition of Secret Lemonade Drinker from his father either.

I prefer that one too. Maybe when he snuffs it they'll make one.

Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning
Fantastic fun from start to finish & heartily recommended.
I find the MI films infinitely better than the Bond franchise, if I'm honest.
See it on the big scren if you can.

Licorice Pizza. I didn't realise it was Philip Seymour Hoffman's son in the lead. He's the spit of his dad.

Not seen it yet but the MI movies are f\fantastic fun. The action set pieces are often works of art in their own right.

You won't be disappointed!

Yes, superb films, and I used to love the TV series, which had one of my all time favourite theme tunes...............

Agreed.
Still get a thrill when it kicks in on the film soundtrack.

Yes, there are certain soundtracks that grab you by the throat and draw you in - I still get a kick from the original Bond theme, and even have an original 45 of it.

This is the one, with Vic Flick on guitar - Fab

The Saint had great theme too, especially Orbital's version for the Val Kilmer film. Sadly the film was rubbish so the theme's been forgotten.

😄 I remember wondering when the theme would kick in, after Roger Moore looked over his head for the halo.

Off the top of my head (see what I did there 😁), other (Roger Moore) TV themes I liked were for "The Persuaders! " (John Barry again) and "Man in a Suitcase"
