What are you watching on TV? Page 2,261

They were filming scenes last week where I live.
So I have a scoop for you.
Somebody was getting kidnapped and being bundled into a white van by a man and woman.
It'll be September before you see it though.

If I'm not watching football or racing, it's usually That's 60s on Freeview 71 (or Sky 365). Great stuff.

I know nobody (will admit to) watches Emmerdale on her. Some great comedy in it at times though.

No......... f**king............way. I absolutely detest soaps, and especially Eastenders, and hate that awful theme tune even more.

I must admit to occasionally watching EastEnders - as it's not regularly, I've no idea who the people are or what's happening, which makes it very entertaining.

Does Dot still run the launderette for Mr Opipopdopylopidous?

There are several reasons why people watch television. For instance, some do so for amusement, others do so to obtain the news and stay up to date on current events, and some do so just to pass the time. Many folks watch to be informed about the world and to observe the news....

So farewell, Succession, undoubtedly one of the finest pieces of TV of this century.
It ended as brilliantly as it started, 5 years and 4 Seasons ago.
Very jealous of those who haven't watched it yet.
I might again - just for the darkest, funniest writing around.

I watched the final episode of Lost the other day

Do you know how long it has taken me to get through?

I got season 1 on Amazon - nine years ago

😳

I gave up on Lost, many, many years ago - it just turned into a farce, of which I really didn't care about in the end. My only regret was the hours I wasted watching the episodes I did.

Maybe I should give it a try then. Are there missing trousers involved?

No, just a missing plot.

I actually quite enjoyed the final season

Didn't have a clue what was going on of course, but it was quite entertaining

I think I may have spotted Brian in a large white furry coat, but it could have been a polar bear - yes, it was a polar bear wearing trousers with braces and a belt.

But did you care?

I enjoyed Lost. The last season was a bit of a misfire, but leading up to it you had some delightfully bonkers TV.
