Can I have some recommendations for internet browsers?
I have used Google Chrome for years but it is gradually becoming more intrusive and resource hungry.
It often stalls my computer while it says something like 'waiting for cache' and if you run 'task manager to see what is slowing everything down,
Chrome is running over 20 separate programs with just one page open.
I stopped it running automatically at 'boot up and it puts a screen up warning me of this and also when I try to use it.
I am constantly cancelling the warnings.
Heres an example of task manager this morning with just this BCG page open.
EDIT: Ah, the image is too small but all those in blue are chrome processes using 54% CPU and 60% memory.
Being using Opera for some while now with no issues, and occasionally use Firefox

Oh dear, have you got that bad cough back again?
I would simply recommend completely uninstalling Chrome, restarting your computer, then installing it afresh. The browser really shouldn't behave like that, and it sounds like it's just become corrupted and not running properly on your system somehow.
