In case anyone's wondering why I benched Rashford against Tottenham - I missed the deadline.

Looks like Ben also missed it - he's got Haaland and two Brighton on the bench.
I've had a quick look at the remaining fixtures And I think I've decided where to play my free hit ( even if it's just a desperate lunge for Manager of the month)
And probably my Triple captain as well for that matter
And the TC is not going to be Salah
Fool me 6 times shame on me
Fool me 6 times shame on me
very good
My effin' useless 3 x (top, allegedly) Arse players who scored ONE POINT between them, 😠were made for up by an arm-banded Haaland.
No wonder Godot likens it all to the Lottery or Bingo

It's all going on now! I am just two points behind Ben and you're just six points behind Bunter. We all know that it's me you want to pass though. I have prepared for that eventuality with some Elvis repellent I bought on Ali Express.
Lol
But Billy has pulled away somewhat I think
mostly due to the Tottenham Man U match which I was hoping would be a nil nil draw.
But If Ben has given up then I have a new target to overtake
So I could still feasibly make a late charge for the Euro conference league
And things are looking up, with me leap- frogging Steve in the H2H. Bloody Hell. Up to 6th - I'm going to need an oxygen mask
Well some classic game week Bantz once again
well done chaps keep it up
Or at least try to keep the thread up on the front page until the end of the season
Yeah, I was wondering for days why Godot benched Rashford against Tottenham and then he came up with the answer.
Obvious really in the end.
In Godot we trust, but to err is human
My challenge for the league title is as precarious as Arsenal's now, but at least I can blame mine on injury, compounded by the team doctor being away on holiday, so I had to wait 4 days for a diagnosis and an effective pain killer. It meant that my double gameweek selections were affected by a mixture of exquisite pain, tiredness and morphine induced exaltation, trying unsuccessfully to bring in Francis Lee.
Now a three horse race again due to another surge of the Radish, but I bet he's thrashing himself for leaving Oldguard on the bench. Still Anton should be nervy now he's chipless for the last four, it's a straight footrace now for the tape.

Well I was away for a wedding and had no signal - which is irrelevant anyway as I can't post from my phone for reasons that are too complicated to go into (I've got two accounts).
But you and Herc are right, participation this season has been diabolical, down exponentially, so everyone's been slacking but some people have posted f**k all. Next season I will be bringing back the posting regs and trying to involve myself a bit more as well, to make it worthwhile visiting the thread.

Those Rashford points would have been very useful, plus I was planning to bring in Salah, so things would have been different this week as well.
To be honest I can't believe how unlucky I've been. I hunched right on Brighton rotation so sold MacAlister and benched Mitoma, giving me De Bruyne and Martinelli as pretty good differentials. Any City player is always a punt, thanks to the bald genius, but De Bruyne was pronounced fit and I expected him to at least travel. It now looks as if he probably won't start the second game either and of course Martinelli was benched last night leaving Odour-Guard to mop up the points.
What's more Pep will likely give De Bruyne ten mins off the bench when the West Ham game's won, leaving me no chance of a full game from Mitoma in compensation. Pep not playing De Bruyne has meant Alvarez alongside Haaland which has made playing the Triple Captain chip far less profitable.
Perhaps it's good luck that Jota didn't get a red card, but the prick's gone and injured himself again so probably won't start either. So bag o'shite.

Radish can't win, as I've explained many times before. You can't win the Clique league if you don't post.
He's a very good competitor and it's a shame, but he knows where the forum is. It's not like I haven't told him. I would have PM'd him if he hadn't turned them off. As much as I like him as a person I'm not prepared to show favouritism. Also last season I accepted his bollocks posts that nobody read as valid, so it's not like he hasn't had a lot of rope from me.
