Another H2H fixture goes down to the wire. It was only my captain scoring his second goal in the 74th minute of the final match of the weekend that clinched it for me.
3 of my midfield were out of action but a reserve and Martinelli put it right - to pip Sunshine in the H2H

As expected Anton, Steve and Kipper bench-boosted this week. With the same team (nearly) and gameplan, I've got no chance of catching Anton. Differentials haven't really worked out...

Because I was happy with my team, and wanted it to revert this week, which it wouldn't have done with the Wildcard - it's not carved in stone that you have to use it.😁
But all is not lost - there is another DGW, Week 34 and I may use it then.
There is not a lot to choose from between Solanke and Groß (apart from this week!!), and the latter has not missed a match, whereas Solanke did not play Weeks 20, 21 and 22, so in my head was not quite so liable to play.
But like you say - it's all a f**king lottery, besides which I play for fun, not glory.😎

Agreed. Although Kipper has probably been hampered by having to go to his local library to view the site since his computer became a peer-to-peer file sharing node of the Russian military. Should have kept up those Norton payments.

Anton is the heir apparent this season and rightly so. Ben, Kipper and Radish are out of chips and looking a bit vulnerable. A Kane haul last night would have laid waste to them. Was never likely though.

This has been the only season I've not really enjoyed it. I think I'm not the only one as posting on here has tailed off significantly compared to previous campaigns.
Some of matches have been so unpredictable that even a deluxe Fantasy Scout membership can't guarantee you top three. I blame the fans.
