Whether it has or hasn't been an act is irrelevant. The point was the way he played it in the sketch last night, not that it actually was (an act).

There were some funny things last night for the first time in many many years. The lack of comedy - and popular comedy even moreso - makes such a show very difficult to do, and the lack of comedians doing anything was quite telling, but at least they didn't pack it with sports challenges and other random celebrity non-comic nonsense.
