Sorry no, but I can see where you are coming from - this is a BRITISH comedy site about British comedy with a header photo of, of course the British sitcom, with the "Dunder Mifflin" being thrown in as a red herring, and agreed upon by Mark, who edits all these.
5/10 on quiz 243. Numbers 1, 2, 4, 8 & 10.
Oh, and happy St David's Day. Got the daffodils; just off for a leek now.
Completely flummoxed me that one - 3/10 and 3/5, but in my defence a lot of those "popular" programmes I had never watched.

Thanks Herc - I'm assuming you got #10? I was surprised you didn't ask that question in your recent themed quiz but not doing so meant I could include it in mine.
Hello everyone, I scored 5 out of 10.
I correctly answered Q1 [a lot of my family and friends watched Gavin and Stacey], Q4 [never seen it, just a lucky guess], Q5 [I'm a huge fan of LOTSW], Q8 [I'm a big Carry On fan], Q9 [I like both programmes in the question]
I incorrectly answered Q2 [I've never been a fan of Jack Dee whatsover], Q3 [I'm not a fan of French or Saunders], Q6 [never watched the programme in the question], Q7 [I'm not a fan of "alternative comedy"], Q10 [I'm a fan of Steptoe and Son, but just could not think of the correct answer]
In a nutshell, I did okay consirdering I had not seen a lot of these programmes, nor am I a fan of people like Jack Dee and Dawn French.

Nice to see a question about Lead Balloon. And I haven't thought about some of those Mary Whitehouse Experience catchphrases for years! Was never a massive fan of it, though I liked some of it and still remember some parts vividly, though it never seems to get repeated.

Well done that's the highest I'm aware of so far. I remember The Mary Whitehouse Experience was absolutely massive in its time, but is quite of its time.

For the record. I don't think you would have to be a French and Saunders/Jack Dee fan etc to know all these answers. Indeed, even if you were, I'm not sure it would necessarily help much.
Lots of "I only got my score because I hate Jack Dee/Steptoe and Son/Mary Whitehouse Experience/French and Saunders' type excuses on here. If you hate all of these, can you really say you're a British comedy fan?

Yes, definitely. It all depends on the era or genre of which one is a fan. You cannot "specialise" in everything. In fact it could be said that you're more of a devotee for being a little more discerning.
You can be a music fan without liking rap; you can be a football fan without admiring Milton Keynes Dons...
