It's a good job you two didn't speak at his funeral

😄

Also another one just died. The original guitarist with the Yardbirds. Top Topham who also came back for later incarnations of the band.

Try imagining a world where people have different tastes & opinions to you.
It might help.

It's a pity that that suggestion isn't also adopted on the news/political related threads.

😎 I was going to mention that - also, she was brilliant, more recently, as the Queen Mother in "The Queen", with Helen Mirren.

Yes, Rest In Peace, beautiful lady.

Another legendary guitarist has passed. I listen to Television's Marquee Moon album all the time. Rest in peace, Tom.

Seminal album.
Television were fantastic - hugely influential.
I can clearly remember when I first heard them on The John Peel show - a real revelation.
RIP Tom

Dropping like flies. Yes I liked Television too. I bought the 12" green version of Venus deMilo.

Incidentally did anyone see the 2016 concert of Jeff Beck at the Hollywood Bowl marking his 50th anniversary on Saturday night on Sky Arts? I've got the triple LP and DVD of the concert too featuring lots of guests like Jan Hammer, Beth Hart and Billy Gibbons.

A mate of mine watched that Jeff Beck concert on Sky Arts the other day, I missed it but my mate said it was fantastic.

It was. I got my copy only a year or so ago from a second hand record shop.

Try Discogs.
