Lime Barrel was my favourite in the Milk Tray selection. Disappointed when they ditched them.

Lime? Oh no, not in a chocolate, but then I don't like any fruit/chocolate combo, including Black Forest gateau.

No, my favourite was always Coffee Cream or Creme, whatever takes your fancy.

And I don't like Coffee. Reminds me I've got some chocs left over from Christmas.

1959............... A Black Mk.1 Ford Consul! The same model as my first car. Ahh, that takes me back.

My uncle had a green one.Or it could have been a Zephyr? They were the same,I think.

The Zephyr was the same body, different grille and had a 6 cylinder engine, as against 4 in the Consul. Basically a posher and more powerful version of my car.

Yes, my business partner's father had a green one, and I think with the early ones the range of colours was green, grey, cream or black.

The first car my dad had was a Vauxhall Victor in 1963. Then he got a Ford Classic.

It must have been a Consul.

My father had two. Both barely roadworthy. He kept one for parts. He never did manage a new car :(

1965................... I only remember 4 grades of petrol, which went 2 Star, 3 Star, 4 Star and 5 Star, so presume the 91 octane is 1 Star for use in 2 stroke, mixed with oil after dispensing, despite what the advert says.

I always ran my old Mk1 Consul on 2 Star as the 5 Star was 5/- (25p) a gallon, and too expensive for me!!

1966.......... Bond and the Cadbury's Milk Tray Man were very much in vogue - not sure how to take the strapline though
