Is it a British version of Babet Schroeder's Maistresse with Bulle Orgier? A favourite gem in my 'arthouse' movie collection.

:D

Good film.

It's actually based on Carol Ann Duffy's poem 'Warming My Mistress's Pearls'. But with some knob gags added.

"We bring you, from the Department of Old Thread revival..........."

Quite enjoying the repeat run on BBC 4

I love the 80sness of it. And her rabbits lolling around on the sofa.
Jane Asher feels a bit wasted though. I'm hoping at the end it turns out she's been having a lovely affair with a man as well.

Caught a bit last night but wasn't too impressed with the Male lead, little charm or humour, in fact he seemed to be in a huff for most of it, some people are never satisfied eh. FK was great as usual.

Rather ironically Chappers...

She was actually the playwright Tom Stoppard's Mistress around this time. (He was still married to Mirriam Stoppard).

That's right Godot, possibly why she looked the part in this. Casting director did their homework.

.......................... FK was great as usual.

Is that an abbreviation, Alf?

Her living room is good.
