15th February 1971 to be precise, was Decimal Day, which I'll never forget as it was the official start of my photographic business, on my birthday.

They're in a display cabinet with other childhood/teenage mementos.

The business was loosely put together in late January, and by the time we'd got the first shop up and running, the date was virtually there, so yes, it was planned.

A momentous date either way 😁
