Dismal 4.
I used to watch it of course but mainly for the Mainwaring/Wilson scenes.
Thanks.

You're welcome, and never mind - maybe next time. Chance for you now to watch all the episodes before the next DA quiz next Spring ?

:)

Great quiz this week, I socred 9 out of 10 my highest score for a while.

Great quiz this week, I socred 9 out of 10 my highest score for a while.

And so, the generation gap shows up - I got 3/10 and 1/5, mainly because I'd either never heard of them (podcasts - what are they?) or never watched them. GRRRR!!

4/10 and 0/5 for me, got 1, 2, 6 & 10 correct. I'd say it's evidence of a generation gap but several of the questions I got wrong were about older shows.

At least now no-one can complain that my quizzes are too hard ?

So, 4 out of 15 for the two of us - I don't feel so bad now, but did also say (apart from the generation gap) there were shows I'd never seen.

To be honest most of my answer were guesses, i knew the vicar of dibley and the name questions for certain the rest i just guessed.

7 & 1 - had to guess all of the last 5

I registered 8/10 but:

I got the first four right based on knowledge(!) (Number 3 only because I knew that the person in question had a father but that's probably true of all of them.)

Number 5 was an educated guess based on the information given.

Number 8 I got right based purely on which of the options I've heard of and which I haven't, number 9 seemed the likeliest of the options & number 10 was purely a guess.

Oops - spoiler alert. You might want to delete that, which I have done.

Quiz 229: I got 7/10 and 1/5. Not bad!

Correct: 2,4,5,6,7,9,10, and 14. I knew the Alan Partridge one straight away, I wonder how many others will remember that! (i.e. are as sad as me for remembering something as trivial as the contents of Alan's goody bags in that episode in such detail!)

Quiz 230, by Hercules: Just 4/10 and 1/5 this week...

Correct: 3, 4, 5, 7, and 15. I knew 3, 4 and 15 for definite.
I used to quite like Dave Allen but forgot all about the bit of trivia in the question!

8 out of 10
failed on 1 and 8
More my era and 2 Sykes questions ,too generous :)
Thanks.

Oh dear, and I thought some of them were quite easy, and that's one more than I got on last week's!! Nevertheless, thank you so much for your feedback. Much appreciated to know which ones you got for future planning.

Well done! Yes, you must be old (not as old, mind) as me. I think I must be the only person on this forum to have regularly watched Still Game, as I think that's the third question I have put up on that sitcom that nobody has got! You'll be pleased to know, I don't think there's anymore in the pipe line, although maybe next year, I may put another even more obscure one in on those Glaswegians. ?

Presuming you meant the Sykes ones were too easy - you did well on Madge Kettlewell, as I didn't think anyone would get that one.

6/10, great quiz
