Most do only live in their constituency. And London. Unless you're suggesting the House as a physical place they need to be active in is abolished and the processes of government and legislature become virtual?

Google says that MPs make the equivalent of $95,700 per year. Members of the American Senate and Congress are paid $174,000. Looks like our presidents earn a little more than three times your PM's salary. Seems there's room for improvement.
