I do love the style of these. They remind me of Chantrell film posters, particularly in the depiction of the female form.
Thank you Aaron. but if AB/RE doesn't stop altering mine, there will be no more from my collection.

Some of the postcard cartoonists were sensationally talented and I too think they share many a feature with the work of Tom Chantrell.
His poster for the film 'Private Nurse' could easily pass for a seaside postcard and is so well drawn it could (equally easily) pass for a photograph.
His poster for 'Carry On Cleo' ran into trouble when it was deemed too similar to the poster for 'Cleopatra'. It was banned for breaching copyright.

Just ignore him. He'll soon get fed up.

Thank you Dave, I don't think he will. He's like that annoying little brat that won't shut up or leave you alone; but in the meantime, back at the ranch.......................

This is just plain bullshit.
He's picked up on the name you mentioned Aaron (Chantrell), then scoured the net for stories he's plagiarised (Tom Chantrell - bollocks, like he knew who you were talking about and was familiar with his work. What a load of crap)
Anyone on this forum can see he is trying so desperately to curry favour, when he picks up on someone's preferences and then gives them a load of doggie doo doos, to ingratiate himself with his sycophantic crawling.
This one would have been hilarious in its day. Times have changed a bit since then.

This original McGill guache artwork (6.5 in x 8.5 in) was sold at auction in 2009 and apparently has the title 'I do not know where I've been. On a cruise or a booze!'
