There's no fooling you Lazzard. After reading your post, I did some Googling and it seems the cast in reality numbered about 500.

I used to work in advertising, so I don't know why I expected any level of honesty.
You'll be telling me next those pills won't make me thin.

They were never quite as good as Airfix.

Yes.Airfix from Woolworths every Saturday morning.That was my pocket money spent.

Here are two adverts for a strange but genuine product - Brooke's 'monkey brand' Soap. The advertisers make some bold claims about benefits to users and its ability to make things shine.

Can anybody work out what's happening in the cartoon in the second advert?

There's quite a few that they don't do anymore, I loved the mini chocolate bar.
