No surprise the weekend's games are off, but is a surprise some of the other sports haven't followed suit, rugby, cricket, golf. Horse racing I think is back on tomorrow. It won't do football fans' persecution complex any good, there's uproar already on many outlets. FPL says round 7 stands, so it's zero or minus points for those who've transferred above their free allotment. The upside is it guarantees a full double gameweek later in the season (unless the PL fiddle about with schedules and split them up), so save your chips.

Of course football was in a unique position in that the Queen was a patron of the FA and Prince William is president.
Beware further postponements next weekend due to policing and crowd issues with the funeral likely to be on Monday 19th.
Chelsea v Liverpool, Man Utd v Leeds & Brighton v Crystal Palace all off next weekend.

I used the Wildcard Week 2! I'd picked a shit team, which is my usual thing at the start of a new season, and had no choice as there was no way I could have patiently worked my out of the predicament, and now look at me - 9th ! And suffering with vertigo. View is nice, though.

Very late call to use a chip but they said Zinchenko was injured again (bet he isn't), there was some rumour about Jesus having a niggle and I was already one player short. Didn't want to spend more than 4pts as I've been frugal like Dougal this season, so I've gone free hit...against all sound advice...finally proving I'm not in the scouts. Dib dib. 6.30 start btw, that's my bob a job deed done.
