I've not experienced that myself. Are you pressing/clicking the green Edit button to save changes? Is there any way you could have hit the Delete button by accident?

Quite possible. But it keeps happening. Maybe I keep doing it. Can you move the Delete Button?

EXACTLY!!! I really cannot see what the problem is here, apart from, like me, both of them being old farts. I've done plenty of editing of my posts over the years and have NEVER hit the wrong button.
I think Dave is a technophobe, as I've tried MANY times to explain to him how to post photographs, BUT that doesn't explain Bill having a problem, as he is like cheese to Chapper's chalk.

It could be colour blindness, a common one being the inability to distinguish between red and green.
With my eye problems, they sometimes give me a colour blindness test at the hospital eye clinic, which I always pass - here is an online one
