Who's that?
And hi, Paul. No worries, mate - I just jumped right in. That'll learn me.
Little Marky Owen.
Bingo.
Yay!
Is there a prize?
There is indeed. You get to write an award-winning sitcom.
Now, to collect your prize, open a new document in Word and ...
It's scary how zooo came to that so quickly.
Me, I just looked at your user account.

Oh, the privileges of being an administrator. I bet you feel like a king, right?
How did you know?!
Hello Tony
Lots of scope for argument there. You're not a Manchester United supporter too are you?
What's the theme of your sitcom - or don't you want to give that away at this stage?
There are several people here interested in collaborating but we do have varied styles as you'll sdee from the critique section.
Hi David (you too, Writer2K).
Manchester United? I'm from Bournemouth! And besides, I don't follow sports. If I did, I'd be out there now, in the sleet, parading my manliness on the footie field - not hiding inside where it's warm, posting to an internet forum.
The theme of my sitcom is so unbelievably simple that I'm amazed it hasn't been done before. Actually, it has, but it's only been tackled in sketches ... and even then, rather badly, in my opinion. It's a situation so overflowing with comedy that I could almost get away with doing no work at all. But I'm not that cheap. It needs very careful handling, however: previous attempts to ape it have come off badly because the humour has been forced. Writers have tried to wedge 'gags' into it, and give it a punchline. It needs neither - just an ear for language and an ability to see what makes even the most ordinary situation amusing.
Confused? You'll have to stay that way. If I revealed my 'source' idea, it would be all too easy for someone to run away with this before I've had a chance to invest some proper time in it.
Oh man. I can't stand it the suspense!
At least give us a vague clue.
...god, I'm being really annoying today.
Hey there Tony! Welcome to the show... it's £5 on the door, £4 in advance!
