In an attempt to try catch up a bit, I've already had to use a bench boost card. 20 points for it was not a bad return though.

You're right, 20 points is good for a bench boost but you can get a lot more.

A bench boost, like all chips is a gamble, and I think you did well. I don't see it matters when you use them, not unless you feel happier knowing they are there at the end of the season, but if you, say, triple captain (as I've seen two seasons now, and still wonder if they were hacked) and it gives you mega points - that is it, you have your mega points in your total, whether that is at the beginning or end of the season.
Otherwise, don't spunk. ? That's why you got giddy - you shouldn't have been standing up when you did it.

As league admin I really have to step in here Steve, and say that I won't tolerate baseless mud slinging at members of good standing, even Kipper. He's been cleared of paying cash for fantasy tips and the very last thing I want to see is a season-long running gag that suggests otherwise. Understood?
