The Jingle Jangel Of a thousand lost souls?

Leevil - now we know that's an old nineties sitcom about 2 sisters.

Jingle Jangle.

LOL

Isn't it a spinoff of Arnie film Jingle All The Way?

P.S. DaButt, IT Crowd.

Not Going Out.

I think I downloaded a few episodes a long time ago, but they must be on one of my many unlabeled external drives. Downloading both seasons from Usenet as I type.

Thanks.

P.S. DaButt, IT Crowd.

I watched the first series and was disappointed. As a geek, I had great expectations but it was as lame as the average U.S. sitcom. Did they redeem themselves the second time around?

S02E01 was brilliance. The rest were pretty much on-par with series one.

Other than that, it really depends what kind of comedies you go for. I particularly enjoy the gentler, mainstream, family stuff, although it sounds like you probably wouldn't.

The porn remake. You know, like 'Shaving Ryan's Privates', 'Hairy Pornstar' and the like.

Does it star Arnie? :(

Trouble with the IT Crowd is, they were actively going back to the classic sitcom style, which Britain stopped doing for 10 years.
I guess you want 'typically English' sitcoms? Whatever they are.

I'm a big fan of stuff like Spaced, League of Gentlemen, Green Wing, etc. But I've been watching and enjoying Gavin and Stacey and that's not exactly edgy, is it?

Have you seen Flight of The Conchords?

Have you seen Flight of The Conchords?

Yeah, I loved it and I'm awaiting the next series. It was my girlfriend's favorite show.

Did it air before/during/after it aired on HBO in the states? All of this bouncing around between BBC/BBC America/HBO for shows like Extras and FOTC has me confused.

Hey - automatic correction of my Americanized spelling of favorite. Nice!

You're not the only one!
It wasn't on here all that long ago, so you may have had it first.

Wikipedia says it aired in the U.S. between June and September of 2007.

I hope they can maintain the quality of writing. The first series was almost perfect.

I was really disappointed with the first series but gave the second one a chance. I'm glad I did - it was a huge improvement and is well worth watching.

Hmm. Actually that sounds pretty much the same as the UK. Weird.

Yeah, he's in it. Some hi-lar-i-ous cameos.

They didn't even go that far back though, did they? I mean, if they'd truly returned then you wouldn't have got a character like Morris's, no Berry, and certainly no whateverthef**k Fielding is meant to be. (More's the pity.)

No, no, true - but then it's not a typically mainstream show either!

Yeah, I loved it and I'm awaiting the next series.

Then I shall give up on you now!
