Sriracha is very popular in California. It's technically Asian, but the Mexican community has embraced it somewhat. It's not all that spectacular, but the slight hint of garlic and sweetness elevate it above the run-of-the-mill hot sauces.
Just made a batch of tacos and the sriracha was applied liberally. Avocados were on sale, so there was plenty of guacamole as well. A few years and vacations ago, while on a train between Portsmouth and Cheltenham I overheard a Welsh guy describing guacamole to another passenger as "somewhere between a relish and a paste." I thought about it for a minute and then decided that he was correct. Then he tried to hit on my 18-year-old daughter and we moved to another car.
Garlic is evil. It must be avoided at all costs.

Assuming one isn't a vampire, garlic is one of life's greatest pleasures. I could probably survive indefinitely on garlic bread and garlic mashed potatoes. And beer.

I attended the Gilroy Garlic Festival in California about 20 years ago. Garlic ice cream, wine, beer, perfume, candy - it was all there. Many large American cities have garlic-centric restaurants (usually named something like "The Stinking Rose") for garlic lovers. Anything like that in the UK?
If there is, I know where I'm going with these Molotovs tomorrow.

An on-topic question: What's a newish UK sitcom worth sampling? I've seen most of the classics and recent (5 years?) shows, but most of my favorite U.S. shows have gone on hiatus and I need something new to watch.
