JP Pass, Playfull, Billy, Horseradish, Dan & Don still to join from last season, and of course Godot, but his disappearance looks ominous, alas. Big loss but nothing we can do, except try and entice new players in, not impossible as we've added a few in the last couple of seasons but finding them is the hard part. And I tried getting some former players back last year but didn't get anywhere. 12 I'd say would be the minimum target,14/15 ideal but not expecting that with just ten days left and some regulars not yet joined.

Slight panic as I couldn't log on to the FF, and in the end had to change my password.

We have 8 players now and all are good players that won't quit when it gets tough.
No Don, shame (and Godot).
Maybe the school for handsome boys has kicked him out and he's sulking.

They're cutting it a bit fine but still almost a week left to join, so there's still hope. However, JP Pass & Playfull haven't replied to PMs I sent, Don & Horseradish are unPMable and Horse seems to run off from BCG altogether.

Don I still hope will be lured by the prospect of winning a record 4th league title, in a reduced field & Billy I hope will be urged by his sporting instincts to turn up. That'll make ten, I think just about competitive. I did PM a few other BCGers, got two polite 'Not for me's and the usual handful of non responses.

Did try with Chappers AGAIN, but he can't be arsed.

PM'd Godot one last time, with codes and deadline.

I do so sincerely hope he is OK.

Well something's going on or I'm seeing things on the FPL site, which is quite possible given my history of not connecting to it properly. If it's not a blip by my browser or whatever then logic would have it that Godot exists. It's like the plot of a Star Trek movie.

I see he has changed his team name. Looks like last year's league is the one to be in.
I'll give it a couple games to see how it pans out and probably delete mine.

I'd leave yours running, it won't do any harm - then they can continue the debate about which league is pukka. ?
