Tony Blackburn's Sounds of the Sixties on Radio 2. 6-8 on a Saturday morning which is a stupid time. I'm not usually awake at 6 on a Saturday morning. It got moved from 8-10 because they think it's just for old people.

A better 60s music programme on a Saturday - and at a more reasonable time (9-11, repeated at 10ish in the evening) can be found here (or on DAB radio):

Also Shep Woolley at 5-7 on a Monday evening plays some good, diverse stuff.

Well now I'm listening to the Huey Show on 6 Music which really is very diverse.

A band called the Messengers. LP on Rare Earth records it includes a few Holland Dozier Holland compositions. Intriguing album and I can't remember what made me buy it but a good mix of psychedelic rock and Motown sounds.

I also was listening to Music of Quality an Distinction by the BEF. It reminded me what a great singer Billy McKenzie was which led me to go on Discogs to buy some more albums including an Associates compilation.

I can never remember any Gilbert and Sullivan. Well - hardly ever.

Just finished listening to some Russ Ballard and Argent and now I've got a Paul Carrack album on.

Bob Marley and the wailers - waitIng in vain

Cliff Richard tribute act. One Erection.

Always gives me goosebumps

Can't imagine what brought this to mind.

My doctor told me to stop listening to 70s disco. At first I was afraid.
