Phew. I was worried he might have been cancelled for being racist or anti semitic.

I don't think anybody in reality has ever been cancelled. If anybody can think of anyone let me know.

You're having a laugh.

I cancelled The Beano - but that was some time back

And I thought BJ stood for Boris Johnson.

Tory deputy chief whip Chris Pincher has quit after he allegedly groped two men while he was drunk.

In a resignation letter sent to Boris Johnson, he said he had "embarrassed himself and other people" by drinking too much at the Conservative Party's private members' club.

Chris Pincher? Groping people ?

It's basically just a Carry On film this government...

So you'll be pleased to hear they're going to carry on governing, for at least another two years. By that time Mick Lynch will be your leader so it's another decade of Tory rule and more.

On the plus side liberals control all the major institutions and corprations in Britain, ensuring that the lefty agenda is still the dominant one. And they can ensure no non-woke sitcoms are ever commissioned by the BBC again.

He can't help himself.
He had to stand down in 2017 for something similar.
Yet still he's an MP?

You hope.
It's about the only think that could possibly save this lot come election time.

I have no idea how to do a link but Woman Humped By Baby Elephant is the news story of the year for me. ? And it's not from The Star.

I'm reading everywhere that Starmer has already received his fine for beergate.
Interesting.
Ironically, I think it would be his 'get out of jail card if true.

Not so much interesting, but certainly to be expected when Tory Sleaze is in the headlines again.
Durham police have stated they are delivering findings next week or the week after.
But the Tory-bots needn't worry - by then there's bound to be another Tory scandal that'll need distracting from.
I'm slightly with Teddy P. on this - if it happened, there'd be a definite upside and the fact that BJ didn't resign will be a terrific stick to beat the Tories with.
Hope it doesn't come to that - but we'll see.

The Tories under Boris do seem completely morally bankrupt. It would be nice to have British PM with some moral fibre.

I know people get cross/defensive when I talk about the Daily Mail, but a strange development today.
They've come out with an anti-Boris headline.
It appears this comes from the top, with Lord Rothermere deciding enough is enough, giving the hard word to Paul Dacre who has been a stalwart supporter - for which he's currently lined-up for a peerage.
Interesting to see if this is one-off shot across the bows, or the start of a campaign.

I think he exasperates a lot of Tories with his poorr judgement and the stupid self destructive things he does. They'd probably like someone more sensible but at the moment there are no obvious true blue alternatives.

True, but they will also need to be bullet proof - that was always Biden's strength. Either they can't find anyone, or they're planning to swap last minute so we don't realise they're as undynamic and boring as Biden or Starmer.
