The Platinum Jubilee Page 4

Congrats your maj

What an astonishing achievement

I.e. You've manage to stay alive.

So yeah

Well done on that

To the Tower with him, Ma'am. And charge him the 30 quid entrance fee to get in. That'll hurt him.

I see Lammy is calling anyone who loves the queen a rabid royalist. The one that constantly see's racism in everything and complains.

Blimey, he's changed his tune since coffee-time.

Thanks for that, I made a mistake. It was Femi Oluwale who tweeted that.
Apologies Mr Lammy.

To be fair, he was replying to some fairly unpleasant tweets in his response to his suggestion that the Royal Family pay for the Jubilee out of their own coffers.
Many of them suggesting he 'leave the country'.
And he didn't say anyone who loves the Queen is a 'Rabid Royalist'.
Just the people piling onto his tweet.
Not a huge fan of the man myself, but best to keep these thing accurate.

AND talking of seeing racism everywhere, a lot of people are making fools of themselves on Twitter concerning a clip (old, but obviously designed to feel like it's part of the Jubilee celebrations) of David Jason relating an anecdote of the the Queen's, where she refers to an ambassador from a foreign country "looking like a gorilla".
He was white and had long arms.
Oh, dear. Cue a lot of wrong assumptions made and pearls being clutched in horror.
As I always say - do your research BEFORE opening the old cake hole or hitting the keyboard.

I enjoyed all the pomp and ceremony today.
Fabulous stuff and the flyover was spectacular.

I don't give a f**k about the f**king Jubilee.

Anyone else watching the Platty Joob show
The bit with the Queen and Paddington was quite charming

Lovely, wasn't it?
Game old bird.

Having said that, Queen without Freddie is just grim.
Brian May has literally no pride.

And I very much enjoyed Lee Mack's off-script joke.
Not sure a certain occupant of the Royal Box did, though.
Still, laughs are better than boos, I guess.

Yes that was funny
And regarding Queen the band I was worried that John Deacon had died
But thankfully he's just retired

Loved the Queen meets Paddington.

It was very much like how my parents were in happier days.

What's wrinkly, smells of shit and steals all your money? The Queen.
