I am so peed off with the news and radio generally that last night I watched the following before going to sleep:
Romany Jones - The Washroom. Up the Elephant - the one in which he has a hangover and a set of golf clubs beside his couch. Love Thy Neighbour - with Nina Baden Semper telling the pale pink woman how to allure men by getting her breasts out. And then an episode of the last one when he went to Australia and a debate on Australian TV on whether they should have re-runs and an interview in the Caribbean with an aged Rudolph Walker.
Amazingly the police didn't come round so in that light I very much recommend it.
But as a matter of interest, does anyone else have dubious though genuinely loved Robertson's Jam statuettes - which might or might not be gay - hidden in their lofts?

Yes - very sad.
I was almost going to mention The Squirrels but anyhow Rising Damp is five gold stars. I might do another ten ITV ones or I might not do.
There is - just to appease the easily appalled - a big thick line that I draw. It is between Curry and Chips and everything else.....not enough strength in it to point out the absurdity.
On another point, weren't we just so lucky to have all of this stuff. Even the crap ones now seem almost good.
I've deliberately challenged myself on Love Thy Neighbour as I wanted to look at it again. Obviously there are "issues". But Smethurst was brilliant and all the cast were good.
And that scene in which there is a punch up and neither of them has the guts to hit the other one is a classic. Stick that in any other series and it would have been spoken about highly forever more!
