Vids

Yes, it was called Vids and was on Channel 4 in the late 90's / early 00's.

This wasn't strictly a comedy, but they used to inject comedy into it.

It used to be on '4late' or whatever Channel 4 used to label their late night section. It revolved around a couple of blokes who worked in a video shop and would review new videos which had come out. It was anarchic and low budget, but I know it had quite a cult following.

I loved it and Bitz too the computer game equivalent.

Vidz was brilliant.

I liked the little blonde one. He was funny (looking.)

That was very funny. Any one remember Get Stuffed!, was any one a mystery chef?

Yeah, I remember all of them. I distinctly remember watching Vids one night, when I had an elderly relative sat next to me, and Nigel, the Welsh bloke, went crawling across the floor, with a 6-foot-long, giant prosthetic cock attatched to his groin.

Get Stuffed!

My dad used to record WCW wrestling for me off ITV, which was on about 1 in the morning, and quite often I'd get an episode of 'Get Stuffed' on there as well. I may still have some on VHS somewhere. I'll look into it.

Didn't The Day Today spoof it? With Matthews and Linehan playing the characters....

Ooh now that I'd like to see. Was working nights in a hospital at the time, and made nights whizz by. Loved all that old late night late stuff.

They did. Burying a dead dad as I remember.

Had forgotten that. As I remember I used to enjoy it quite a lot. Who were those two blokes? Anyone?
