Good to find something that we all agree on for once. I think you'll find that 100% of the people on this site are united in their support of Ukraine and hatred of Putin.
I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,362
Yup- it's utter lunacy
However...
Some hypocrisy maybe
I didn't hear Russia complaining all that much when 'we' lied through our back teeth inventing a reason to invade Iraq and then bombing the shit out of it - leaving thousands and thousands of innocent civilians dead and living in ruins...
Thats because they had just concluded the 2nd Chechen War and Grozny was like a car park.
A $1,000,000 bounty for the arrest of Russian President Vladimir Putin was offered to military officers by Russian entrepreneur Alex Konanykhin in a post he published on social media this week, as Russia continued its invasion of Ukraine.
"I promise to pay $1,000,000 to the officer(s) who, complying with their constitutional duty, arrest(s) Putin as a war criminal under Russian and international laws," wrote Konanykhin on LinkedIn. "Putin is not the Russian president as he came to power as the result of a special operation of blowing up apartment buildings in Russia, then violated the Constitution by eliminating free elections and murdering his opponents."
"As an ethnic Russian and a Russian citizen, I see it as my moral duty to facilitate the denazification of Russia. I will continue my assistance to Ukraine in its heroic efforts to withstand the onslaught of Putin's Orda," added the businessman. Orda is the Russian word for "horde," a predatory, plundering gang.
The post was accompanied by an image with a photo of Putin and the words "Wanted: Dead or alive. Vladimir Putin for mass murder.

No chance of that, Putin's already warned of nuclear war on the west if the convoy is bombed. In military terms, it's a sitting duck for an aerial attack and would have been destroyed by now if Russia didn't have the world's biggest nuclear arsenal. Those nuclear 'deterrents' have now become weapons.

And because Iraq is an enemy of their ally Iran.
The school bully is picking on the nice kid and all the other kids are watching in horror but all they'll do is promise that the bully won't be given any more sweeties from them. If they say anything to him, they know he might turn his nastiness on them.
One nuclear force is in the hands of a sociopath while the other is forced to show restraint to prevent a nuclear war that destroys mankind. If NATO interferes and their front line resources face Russian front line resources it could mean instantly increasing the chances of World War III and the death of everyone we know love and care for. This is not a game or a political point scoring exercise , it is the most serious threat humanity has ever faced.
Everything hinges on the Russian people not its leader. The hope is clearly that he is deposed and that calmer/ saner heads prevail. If they don't then we face destruction.
As it stands a nuclear power plant is on fire and civilians lay dead in the street, This is not a bully its a lunatic, one that has sown the type of division in the West that has made us look weak when in fact both sides could destroy this planet.
Dominic Raab chuntering on about War Crimes.
"They must now know that they face the very real risk of ending up in the dock of a court and, ultimately, in a prison if they follow through on those illegal, unlawful orders."
No they don't
War crimes only work if one side loses.
The West isn't going to 'defeat' Russia anytime soon.
Russia doesn't even recognize the ICC.
Pointless posturing.
Giving oligarchs a 30 days heads-up - now that is criminal.
This is well out of the hands of the Tories , they have been taking the money and helping themselves. But in doing so they have diluted the perceived integrity of our political system. As such Putin must have been surprised at the level of non acceptance he has faced from his poodles . Who in turn have to be seen to be acting in our interests for once.
Putin is clearly insane and his danger to both sides is and that clarity is growing by the day as are the bodies. No one wins in this, at best we dodge mutual destruction . All we can hope is that we as a race learn a lesson about how we arrived here through the use of disinformation spread by our own invention. the Internet.
Putin has to die that is how far this has got, we can not live in a world that has an insane finger hovering over a button that could end our existence on this planet.

That pesky full stop can fool the best of us.
After Putin has had a group of three in the back of his head. We should use the time and money it would have cost to have him before the courts and use it on the Murdoch's and their lap dogs at Fox, no one needs this rabid hate spitting shite anymore.
Farage and Arron Banks also need looking into and possibly charged as being Fifth Columnists who have tried to undermine this country at every turn.
And that nonce in the Fedora, George Galloway.
