When the retinas detach inside the eyes of any bear, it is unlikely any time soon to be getting its ears syringed.

Yeah, well you always say that

Do I?

I hadn't noticed.

People generally might like to know that Vladimir Putin used to be my next door neighbour. I was 8 and he was 18. Also, he had a very cool motorbike. Also, he had a girlfriend called Sarah Jane. Also, when I went round to his on my space hopper, he used to give me opal fruits. It's very sad how he is now.

Actually where is Russia? I thought actually it was in Buckinghamshire. But actually Timothy Goldberg-Patel who lives at Number 76 on the corner says it is actually in Kent. Seven miles east of Tonbridge. Actually.

Gotta hand it to the fierce fighting spirit of the Ukrainian people. I hope they send the invaders packing. If they do, Putin might be finished. And then we add Ukraine to the NATO ranks, and hope that the Russians have learned a lesson that they'll never forget.

Footage just now of women making Molotov Cocktails - extraordinary. And good to see a comedian that turns out to be a true President, rather than the other way round.

Ha
Absolutely

I sincerely hope for that

Nice time to make crap jokes hazzard.
I hope you'll keep the spirits up as a RDS-9, with a 40 kiloton warhead strapped on to it, flies overhead.
Even if it misses, he has 6000 more to let off.
It is looking like to me that this could get very serious very fast.

Hitler would have used them if he'd had therm and this bugger is twice as mental.

Yeah, you're right, Steve.
No-one has ever used humour to make a point during war-time.
Especially us British.

I'll make it clear, but less funny.
Good to see a leader with some back-bone, rather than a bunch of Putin enablers.

Zelensky has been very impressive. Cometh the hour cometh the man and all that.

The Ukrainians have got some bottle and they are making a real fist of it. Sadly I fear that Putin can not afford to lose and may have to use the type of force he used in Grozny and Syria.
However the Ukrainian capital is neither 'Off Camera' Or 'Muslim' and the buildings don't look like something out of Ben Hur or the Saint. This to all intents and purposes is a European capital with 'White Christians' who live and work in buildings and infrastructure that is similar to ours and shop logos and cars that look like ours.
So what happens if he uses low level nuclear , or thermo barrel bombs or kicks in door and rounds up people?

The solution I suspect to this lays clearly in the death or arrest of Putin by his own people. The solution has to come from behind him from his own, for it to come from us it would require a world war.
Lets hope that its a political coup in conjunction with the army rather than against the army's wishes. There is no other solution if they don't Putin who is now clearly mad will destroy a capital city before our eyes and if he gets away with it he will do more .
It really is that simple, its no good debating with someone who is going around punching people in the hope they don't get round to punching you. So if the Russians can't oust him this will get out of hand really fast.

Countless high up nazi officials desperately wanted to get rid of Hitler- virtually all were to gutless to attempt it

I suspect Putin is surrounded by the same yes men who wouldn't dare to even question his actions , let alone plot his removal from office

Or finished up on the end of a loop of piano wire...................Ouch!

Each time they tried, Hitler got lucky and he took that as a sign that he was invincible and the chosen one.
Putin is showing himself in the open and probably believes the same.
Technology has moved on and targeting an individual is far easier.
Nobody will mourn the loss of this madman.

There are suggestions that not ALL of the UK military involved in weapons training neccesarily left Ukraine.
Let's hope they left a few of the famously resourceful ones...

It is never going to be even hinted at but I'm convinced plans are afoot.
The consequences are too grave to ignore.
I hope one day, long after the event, the special forces story is told.
