I read the news today oh boy! Page 2,355

I think Fujitsu were complicit as they gave blanket denials as to any faults in the software..
As to when Fujitsu knew there was a fault needs scrutinising - and the Royal Mail should certainly be looking to then for compensation - rather than the govt ( ie you and me)

It makes you wonder what his royal lowness really got up to. Were there other cases where the girl was really under age (under 16) and was paid off privately?
There should be no situation where you can 'pay' to stop a court case involving pedophilia. That's not justice.

No it's not, but the strange legal system allows it, for some reason. Money talks. If she was truly only interested in justice then she wouldn't have taken a penny. It's reported she's banked 12 million quid. I don't know what cut her agent took but it's a great payday for both of them, to add to the half a million dollars she accepted from Epstein. Of course, there's no blemish to her character at all. Except in the eyes of millions.

I thought the money had gone to charity?

If I was accused of raping a kid I would not pay a penny. I would demand a court case and if I was found guilty I would sit on the roof of the prison. You do not give someone 12 million quid to 'Settle' a matter you pay that to make it go away. And you do not sit silently while people accuse you of doing something you never did. This woman may have been given money but given what I knew at 16 and what a group of predatory paedophiles knew at that time, she is a clear victim and is blameless.

I appreciate that, from your experience. From my own experience with people I'm holding a very different opinion of her.

Alfred the man paid 12 million pounds to hush the thing up, that in itself is an act of guilt. Have you seen the photo off him opening Epstein's front door? This is man who rings a bell to tell the butler that he needs clean socks. He is also noted for saying sexual stuff to any 'Filly' that is unfortunate enough to come across him. Whats more his family has ostracised him, and yet you think that the victims to blame come on mate you know better than that. Yes she made money its called 'Compensation' people get that when they have been wronged.
It's like the Post office people they should be given millions for what happened to them or do you plan on siding with Postman Pat?

Despite Andrew paying 12 million and Charles having a charity investigated, it's important to remember that Megan is still the real villain.

12 million - where do you all get that from?
It has been stated many times that the amount paid is private.
The figure has not been released and if you read the reports, the guesses vary wildly.

Even if its pound Stephen its a pound more than you would give if you were innocent. And lets be honest I can't see American lawyers settling for Three and Sixpunce off a crowned prince can you?

Having seen repeated warnings in regard to storm Eunice and its danger to life . Be in no doubt there will be hundreds of Level 1 F**kwits out on the coast clutching the rails to watch. Most of their bodies will wash up around Norway given the direction of the wind.

The level 2 F**kwits will watch from their cars parked on the beach. These will be treated by paramedics whilst still strapped in their cars which will be upside down. Most of their injuries will be whiplash coupled with soup scalding thanks to their thermos flasks.

The Level 3 ones who are required by law to be drunk and topless in their back gardens, will suffer mostly from being hit by garden furniture and in extreme cases killed by a trampoline from ten gardens away.

Or it'll be a bit of hail and rain and draughty.

There is that as well. People will be strapped like Christ to their beds wearing glow in the dark rosary beads and will be pissed off if it doesn't happen.
I think due to budget cuts the BBC weather presenters are sharing the same office as the Drama department and they are taking presentation tips off the Luvvies.
It used to be the case that they had a few magnetic clouds , now its like watching Kenneth Branagh's Henry V.

Storm Eunice is just the latest of this trend to hype it all up to the rafters. It used to be the case that names of this kind were just given to hurricanes and tornados. Now we have to have them for just a bit of rain and wind. It's completely in line with how the common cold has been renamed Omicron. Oh dear. My garden pixie has been blown over and I sneezed once. Yep dear - well, you are now 23 and a half so I should take five years off from work to strike on ice caps and sip hot ribena with your slippers on. Also, with this kind of Armaggedon, shouldn't you be thinking of making out a will?

Each to their own, some of us would go to the roof top disco to welcome the aliens. While others would stay out the way to establish what the aliens plans are in the round.
