The middle column that tells you what thread the post is under, which saves you from checking, if you are not interested in that area

Yes please. I would certainly find it useful as I rarely venture into Creating Comedy, Showcase or (as I found this evening) Critque and ventured upon one of MM's "Halliwell 16, 1924 4 - 12-11.21", which I find tedious, to be quite honest with you.

It's ticked by default unless you've opted out, or disabled such notifications at a global level in your user account settings.

Another thing that occurred to me yesterday was it wasn't evident that I wasn't "signed in" until I viewed the posts.
I haven't got anything to complain about except not having anything to complain about.
