Thank goodness for that - although a draw would be ideal.

0-5 after an hour

I love seeing Manure lose.

I usually listen to comedy on Radio 4 Extra in the morning before I go to work but for my laughs this morning I watched the highlights of Manchester United v Liverpool.

I was reading over the weekend about the football league on the Scilly island of St Mary's (it was either that or follow keep an eye on my score in the BCG Fantasy League which obviously I wanted to avoid at all costs - I still haven't plucked up the courage to look).

There are just two teams in the league and they play each other 18 times per season. There are also two cups in which they play each other over two legs. And the season starts with the traditional Charity Shield.

Yes, I've seen a couple of documentaries on that unique "league" - fascinating and amusing.

OH, AND Such a shame! :D

But you are not alone - I have had many a week like that. Geek

Manchester City and Paris St Germain in five years time then. How advanced of them. Do they have the Qataris financing too even though that would also be a cultural appropriation of Europe? And notwithstanding their dire human rights record?

Splendid scenes in Newcastle with some great headgear. I do the punk Saudi look myself. Shoved a big hanky on the end of my beanie hat and splattered it with my own blood before inserting zips and safety pins. And that is just for my crotch. I will of course sue if anyone gazes at it so as to imply I have a penis:

Looks like 19 teams are against but last week it was 6 against 14 on a breakaway league. So it is all hypocritical waffle and like billionaire five year olds who moan that they have to share the cake. That will splinter - they just don't have enough affection for each other.

In fact they have no affection for anything but money and scream and scweam and weally skweeem like Violet Elizabeth Bott when it is surgically removed from them - or just a little bit to embrace a seventh child.

Pathetic ponces all.....to my mind they are all genuinely borderline criminal. And actually I can't make head nor tail of what is supposedly their sexual orientation. Especially Guardiola's. Are they nones (other than maybe a few shags with vaults filled with average people's missing pensions?)?

Otherwise, I am entirely content.

Barcelona and Juventus both lost at home. No wonder they wanted a Super League. It would save them the embarrassment of losing to crap teams.

And Bayern Munich lost 5-0 too!!!!

IT'S QUIZ TIME FOLKS!

So, what match is this cartoon about, when was it and what was the score?

Taxi to Whit Hart Lane for Nuno. Another compensation pay-out for Levy?

They won't dare. They'd be accused of racism.

You've got to feel for the poor England football team who reached the final of Euro2020. Their promised bonus has been cut from £7.8 million to only £5.25 million because of tax reasons.

Before my time! It's clearly not the 1952 FA Cup Final - it's earlier than that - per the manager's moustache. In any case I believe it was one of the Chilean Robledo brothers who scored in that game. Also I suspect, if it were a cup final, it wouldn't refer to it merely as the Arsenal v Newcastle match.

Well, we were swamped with answers from all you footie fans out there, and the first one to come out of the hat, was a Master Bunter of Greyfriars - Thank you, Billy! :)

Yes, it's some 33 years before that Cup Final, and why it was memorable (apart from The Arse being beaten 0-1 at Highbury by Newcastle) was because it was the first football match played after the end of The Great War. Certainly something to celebrate, you would agree - as did the crowd, clearly! IT WAS HEAVING!!

Just look at it! I mean the crowd packed in is mind blowing!

(I like the police crowd control) :D

AND, so you can go onto the next round - Question Two is :-

Watch the two minute video and work out how many in the crowd are not wearing a hat or cap?

Answers on a postcard please to :-
