Meet The Richardsons - Series 2

So happy this is back. Lucy's deadpan delivery is a perfect counterpoint to Jon's escalating pettiness.

My only complaint is keeping the Mamma Mia joke in the credits.

Just watched it.
Very funny with lots of actual proper laughing.
Lucy's malapropisms are a treat.
And who wouldn't like their own Dog and Bastard.

Have to agree 100%. An excellent start to the new series and fabulous news to hear a 3rd series is on the way. Funniest thing on TV so far this year!

I don't drink, but I'd love my own KFC. That's an equivalent, right?

Very funny return of the show. Also laughed heartily throughout.

Meet The Richardsons continues to be a delight. Lucy's assessment of Jon's presents was a highlight. I love it when the façade cracks and Jon makes Lucy crease up with laughter.

It's so good, it's very hard to tell what is scripted and what isnt.
Lucy says none of it is....
It's also filmed in my neck of the woods so I know all the places.
They do a cracking Sunday lunch in Hebden Bridge.....on a barge.

Just watched the first couple of episodes. I must say that I didn't feel that a prolonged debate over which one of them taught their young daughter to say the " F" word or the peeing in said daughter's lunch box was the stuff of classic comedy.

I shall try one more episode to see if the subject matter improves.
