Is anyone else a fan?
I just watch it avidly but would especially like to talk with people who do it.

Perhaps you should go on a hairdressers site as I'm sure they talk about it a lot and you never know you could then go on to discussing full blown perms.

Perhaps, yes.
With a word like "perhaps" which part of Liverpool are you actually from, Edward?
Southport-on-Surrey or fox hunting as my old boss claimed he did on the Earl of Derby's "Liverpool" estate?
I live not far from Lord Derbys Estate, sadly I have never been invited up to the Big House, still its his loss not mine as I am allegedly a hoot around a dinner table especially when they pass round the spilffs .

Thank you for replying. I respond with some comprehension oif sensitivity. I don't think you are a bad bloke. The biss I mentioned was a sexist, racist, homophobe who was a bully and marked me down even thouygh he genuinely believed he was my best mate. Then I met a woman from the Wirral who was in charge of me and she was like the Ferry from sheer hell. Gigantic tits and boy did she use them to varying effects. Shooting up the ladder promotion wise as she unfeasibly tucked them between her legs. With us juniors it was simply cleavage based intimidation. It was the first time I was put on pills for hourly sweats. Made him look in comparison half great. And that was a huge miracle.
Which is all very troubling to me as I love England, before Covid I used to love exploring England, I love Ireland actually on which much of Liverpool is based and I love Liverpool music and comedy. So - and I have never been there and I also like architecture and the place is good on that too - I am gagging to get there. Of course, I can't. Can't even go two miles down the road and do one of me fake accents. Well, that one ain't an accent to be fair. It is just copying Michael Owen. Just ditch the personality, pretend you are on one note asleep and sound like you have never heard a piece of music.
Liverpool is very historical and there is some amazing architecture and the local histories are very colorful. Dockers nick names are very popular in folk lore. My favourite is the one who wore and old army coat to work that had a hole in the back of it so he was nicknamed 'The Coward' .

The language thing as well.
That's for me.
Thank you very much Teddy.
I WILL get there and with the attitude that I am going to like it and its people.
It's one of my ambitions.
Same colouring as me. In my looser moments I reveal that he has the same surname as me which he did. A lot of people have told me it is Northern but I see no evidence for that in me. He's my favourite Beatle. And this was No 1 in the UK Singles Chart exactly half a century ago today. So scary - that time - but too true.

Hilda Ogden was very much into her curling as I recall.

Did she? All I remember her for was her Murial. I did think of getting a replica of that great art piece in my 1970s wall adornment phase. In the end, I settled for the bird with a bit of a breast out and the Chinese lady whose eyes followed you around the room. One sort of encouraged you to wank and the other one said you are not hiding it from me. You have company. Otherwise, that period in my house was strictly beige.
A curl is something surfer dudes would know all about(not me) but "curling" is not included in their vocabulary of cool surfin slang,as far as I know.

I remember Muriel when she was Young. With Pussycat Willum and Olly Beak in tow.
Then there's curling one out.
