A few years ago a local museum had a Bamfords postcard exhibition in one room
I went along and chuckled all the way round.
You know the type of cards 'Nurse, I said prick his boil not...'
It was taken down within a week due to complaints

**McGill was another very good artist, and he was prosecuted for some of his cards. MANY were banned.
