One Good Turn

The 2nd of Norman Wisdom films. What did you think this one?

I really enjoyed this one, loved the plot about him promising a child a model car the child saw, and doing anything he can to try and raise the money for it. Thora Hird plays a cook in this one, the youngest I have ever seen her, in any show I have watched. A very good 2nd film.

Presume you're talking about Norman Wisdom ;) , the youngest you will see Thora Hird in a film would be when she started her film career at the relatively late age of 31 in such films a "Went The Day Well" (1942), which, by the way, is a superb film.
